“Come now, mother. I have made it back to you...
Feel like running barefoot in the morning dew.
Miles behind us, we've lost many souls for good
Bringing victory as close as we could"
The wonderful words of Vladimir Kharitonov. These words disclose those of us who are committed to this great day, The Great Victory Holiday, commemorating the end of the Second World War. A bright and proud opportunity to remember and reflect on our past glory, even if it were a bittersweet victory.
I don’t know any family from Leningrad to Vladivostok, from the Arctic Circle to Central Asia, who did not suffer from this horrible war. That is why it is our moral duty to preserve the memory of Our Great Victory!
Today, however, our detractors attempt to black out, to wipe from people’s memory and soul this great commemoration. However, we must, we have to, make every effort to ensure that the memory, respect, pride and dignity of our Great Victory is protected and preserved and can be handed down to future generations.
NO ONE IS FORGOTTEN - NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN! ETERNAL GLORY TO THE VICTORS!
No One Is Forgotten - Nothing Is Forgotten!
