Today our faction promoted the introduction of changes to the Constitution in terms of justice. We have been steadfastly arguing for the necessity of comprehensive and profound judicial reform. The imperfections of the current system have made people wary of the total lawlessness and utter corruptness of our courts.

The people are demanding reforms that will lead to positive changes. Our political forces should not ignore the wishes of the people. The need for such change is also obvious to us, Ukraine’s politicians.

However, I want to emphasize that the preparation for such change has been non-transparent, carried out in privately held meetings. There has been no expert discussion, public consultation or political debate. Once again the authorities have shown their desire to resolve everything internally without any consideration of public opinion.
